Frequently asked questions

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, we warmly welcome new patients to our dental clinic! Whether you are new to Waterloo, looking for a different dental provider, have a dental emergency, or have been referred to us, we are excited to meet you and provide you with exceptional dental care.

What age should I start bringing my children in?

We recommend bringing your child for their first dental visit within six months of their first tooth eruption or by their first birthday, whichever comes first. Early dental visits are important for establishing good oral hygiene habits, monitoring tooth development, and detecting any potential dental issues.

Why is it important to use dental floss?

Dental floss plays a vital role in maintaining optimal oral health. Brushing alone cannot reach the tight spaces between teeth and along the gumline, where plaque and food particles can accumulate. Dental floss is designed to clean these hard-to-reach areas, preventing the buildup of plaque, bacteria, and debris that can lead to tooth decay, gum disease, and bad breath.

Are dental braces only for children and teenagers?

No, dental braces are not just for children and teenagers. Orthodontic treatment can benefit individuals of all ages. In fact, more adults than ever are choosing braces to achieve straighter teeth and improve their oral health.
